Requirements:

1. ACTUAL PASSPORT

You must submit your actual passport. The visa will be stamped on a page in your passport. Your passport must have at least six months of validity left beyond your intended stay in Pakistan, and must have at least one completely blank visa page. 3. TWO PHOTOGRAPHS

Submit two professional 2″ x 2″ color passport photos. Snapshots, photocopies and computer pictures are not accepted. Photos must be:

Taken within six months to reflect your current appearance;
Taken in full-face front view directly facing the camera. Full face must be visible. Head must be centered and not tilted;
Do not wear eyeglasses in the photo;
Clear. Blurry, underexposed, overexposed and low quality photos are not accepted;
With a plain white or off-white background;
With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open.

4. PROOF OF RESIDENCE

Copy of local Driver's License or State ID. In case of absence of local ID, a copy of the applicants latest utility bill can be provided as proof of residence. If the applicant is a child, copy of birth certificate and a copy of father's or mother's local ID will be required.

5. LETTER OF INVITATION

Travelers who are visiting friends and relatives should provide a notarized invitation letter from the friends or relatives in Pakistan. If your host or relative is a Pakistani citizen please provide a notarized copy for their passport main page or national ID. If your host is a non-Pakistani citizen please provide a notarized copy of their passport main page and valid Pakistan visa.

6. TREKKING/MOUNTAINEERING

If the purpose of visit is trekking/mountaineering, provide an invitation letter from the tour operator in Pakistan, registration letter of tour operator with Ministry of Tourism in Pakistan and the trekking/expedition permit issued by the Gilgit-Baltistan Council.

7. MINORS

For children under age 12, submit a notarized consent form from both parents conveying no objection to issuance of the visa to their child. This consent form is required even if the child is traveling with the parent(s).

9. CONSULATE FEE

Single Entry Visa valid for Three Months for stay up to 30 days

$60.00 per visa

Multiple Entry Visa valid for up to One Year for stays up to 30 days per entry

$90.00 per visa

Multiple Entry Visa valid for More Than One Year for stays up to 30 days per entry

$120.00 per visa

Approval from the Ministry of Interior is required and it may take up to four weeks to be issued. Processing time commences after approval has been arrived at the consulate. Saturdays, Sundays, consulate scheduled holidays, and mailing do not count as a processing day. It is possible applicants may be called for a personal interview at the consulate. All fees are non-refundable if visa application is denied or withdrawn.

10. SERVICE FEE

$99.00 per visa

Please note all fees are non-refundable if passport or paperwork is withdrawn. Visa issued only when approval has been recevied from Pakistan.

4. FOUR PHOTOGRAPHS

5. BUSINESS LETTER

Letter from employer on company letterhead introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status and position held in the company, and clearly stating purpose of visit. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Pakistan.

6. LETTER OF INVITATION

A signed letter of invitation from the host company in Pakistan explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of visit. In addition, the letter must indicate length of stay, place of stay, and contact information. A notarized copy of the inviting person's passport, ID or CNIC/NICOP must be included.
